Veterinarian
The work at the clinic is mostly executed by Drs Arie Hoogendoorn (known as team vet for the Dutch Olympic teams) and Vic van Loon, also from the equestrian clinic De Watermolen. The young horses are under constant veterinary supervision. Issues such as the clinical examination and X-raying of the young horses (also for PROK certificate) can be carried out on the farm.This also applies to any further veterinary procedures, such as castration of young stallions.
Obviously the young horses are being preventively vaccinated against influenza, tetanus and glanders and we have a deworming scedule. In addition, the company is regularly visited by veterinarians Gabrielle Broeze-ten Voorde and Jan Broeze, who are specialized in the dental care for horses.
